Major Jay McKinney (U.S. Army, Retired) is Vice President of Sales at Barnabas Capital and lives with his family in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Jay is the Allianz annuity representative for Charles W. Rawl & Associates. He supports our business with Allianz Life and other registered indexed annuities.
Jay was called to serve by the North Carolina National Guard and deployed to support critical search and rescue operations and provide logistical support to those in need in Western North Carolina immediately following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. The storm has deeply impacted Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee, and we are immensely proud of Jay for his service.
Jay’s dedication, both in his professional role with us and in his service to the nation, exemplifies the core values of leadership, integrity, and selflessness. His commitment to helping others during such a challenging time reminds us of the importance of community, service, and support.
It is no surprise that Jay is an Eagle Scout, an Executive Board Member of the Central North Carolina Scout Council, and is currently a Scouting Cubmaster. He is also a Board Member of the Cabarrus County Community Foundation Board and is President of the Board of Directors for the Cabarrus County Citizen’s for Scouting, Inc.
